Characteristics - Uses:
Pyriproxyfen is a new-generation insect growth regulator that works by inhibiting hormone synthesis in insects, preventing them from molting and causing loss of reproductive capability, especially at the larval and differentiation stages. It blocks larvae from developing into adults, thereby stopping reproduction and leading to eventual death. As a result, insects lose their ability to lay eggs. Pyriproxyfen is highly effective in controlling whiteflies, scale insects, mealybugs, leaf miners, thrips, aphids, and other pests.

● Rose, leafy vegetables
- Target pests: Whiteflies, aphids
- Dosage: 0.6 liter/ha. Dilute 25 – 30 ml per 20 liters of water.
● Coffee, wax apple (rose apple)
- Target pests: Mealybugs, scale insects
- Dosage: 0.6 liter/ha. Dilute 25 – 30 ml per 20 liters of water.
● Orange, lemon, pomelo…
- Target pests: Citrus leaf miner
- Dosage: 0.6 liter/ha. Dilute 25 – 30 ml per 20 liters of water.
● Black pepper, leafy vegetables…
- Target pests: Nematodes
- Dosage: 0.6 liter/ha. Dilute 25 – 30 ml per 20 liters of water.
Notes: Can be tank-mixed with systemic or fumigant-type products to enhance control efficacy.
- Spray volume: 500 – 600 liters/ha. Apply when pests first appear, at a density of about 3 – 5 insects per plant.
- Pre-harvest interval (PHI): 7 days after application.
