Characteristics - Uses:
Alpha-Cypermethrin is an active ingredient that has been registered under various trade names by many companies in Vietnam for insect control. It is widely used to control stem borers, leaf folders, thrips on rice; fruit borers (larvae boring into fruit stalks causing fruit rot); mealybugs, white grubs, loopers (inchworms), stink bugs, flea beetles on lychee, longan, custard apple, persimmon, orange, mandarin, as well as vegetables and fruit crops.

- Dosage: Rate: 0.15 – 0.4 liter/ha. Dilution: 10 ml per 8 – 10 liters of water

- Target pests: Ants, mealybugs, borers, mosquito bugs, termites, fruit borers, aphids…
- Dosage: Rate: 0.15 – 0.4 liter/ha. Dilution: 10 ml per 8 – 10 liters of water

Notes:
- Spray thoroughly to wet both upper and lower leaf surfaces; apply when pests are at early larval stages (instar 1–2).
- Do not spray during strong winds or when heavy rain is expected.
- Pre-harvest interval (PHI): 10 days after application.
- Spray volume: 400 – 500 liters/ha.
