Characteristics - Uses:
- Modusa 960EC is primarily absorbed through the upward conductive tissues, inhibiting the growth of shoots and roots. It provides high efficacy in weed control on upland crops, including grassy weeds (barnyard grass, goosegrass, jungle rice, foxtail, etc.); sedges (rice flat sedge, purple nutsedge, yellow nutsedge, sedge species, etc.); and broadleaf weeds (dollarweed, spiny amaranth, purslane, coatbuttons, common purslane, false daisy, goosefoot, etc.).
- The product contains an advanced active ingredient, a newly developed innovation, twice as potent as Acetochlor, safer for the environment and users, and delivering cleaner weed control. It is a pre-emergence herbicide; only one application per crop season is required to effectively control major weeds from the early stage, helping reduce costs and increase yield and income.
User manual:
- Crops: Maize (corn), cassava (tapioca), soybean, peanut (groundnut), sugarcane, cotton, water spinach, leafy vegetables, etc.
- Target weeds: Grassy weeds (barnyard grass, goosegrass, jungle rice, foxtail, etc.); sedges (rice flat sedge, purple nutsedge, yellow nutsedge, sedge species, etc.); broadleaf weeds (dollarweed, spiny amaranth, purslane, coatbuttons, false daisy, goosefoot, etc.).
- Application rate: 0.8 L/ha. Dilute 20–25 ml per 16-liter sprayer, apply 2–2.5 sprayers per 1,000 m²; or 35–40 ml per 25-liter sprayer, apply 1.5 sprayers per 1,000 m².
Notes: Pre-harvest interval: Not specified.
- Apply before or immediately after sowing on moist soil (after rainfall or irrigation); avoid direct contact of the spray with germinating seeds.
- Apply when weeds have not yet emerged or are at the very early stage (less than 1.5-leaf stage).
