Characteristics - Uses:
- DURONG 800WP is a selective, systemic herbicide that effectively controls both grassy and broadleaf weeds in sugarcane, cotton, coffee, and cassava (tapioca) fields, including grasses and broadleaf weeds such as goosegrass (Eleusine indica), crowfoot grass (Dactyloctenium aegyptium), jungle rice (Echinochloa colona), bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), spiny amaranth (Amaranthus spinosus), purslane (Portulaca oleracea), sensitive plant (Mimosa pudica), etc.
- DURONG 800WP is mainly used for pre-emergence application or early post-emergence, when weeds are newly emerged and at the 1–2 leaf stage. With its long-lasting weed control, DURONG 800WP helps reduce weeding frequency and overall weed control costs.

● Sugarcane
- Weeds controlled: Broadleaf weeds and grasses
- Application rate: 3.5 kg/ha. Mix 40 g per 12–16 liter knapsack sprayer. Spray volume: 600 – 800 liters/ha. Apply 1–2 days after sowing. Avoid direct spraying onto the crop.
● Maize (Corn)
- Weeds controlled: Broadleaf weeds and grasses
Application rate: 3.5 kg/ha. Mix 40 g per 12–16 liter knapsack sprayer. Spray volume: 600 – 800 liters/ha. Apply 1–2 days after sowing. Avoid direct spraying onto the crop.
Notes
- Apply before weed emergence or when weeds are still young (1–2 leaf stage) for optimum weed control.
- If applied after sugarcane emergence, avoid spraying directly onto the growing points. For soil-applied treatments, adequate soil moisture is essential; if the soil is dry, irrigate lightly before application.
